About the festival

Over the past 20 years, South-Eastern Europe has changed profoundly — and so has Balkan Trafik! What began as a celebration of traditional music and cultural heritage has become a platform open to a new generation of artists, musicians, designers and creative voices.

The festival continues to protect and celebrate living traditions while connecting them with rock, hip-hop, electronic music, fashion, visual culture and the major issues shaping Europe today.
