Immerse Yourself in the Balkans

From Balkan brass and UNESCO-listed polyphonies to Greek hip-hop, manele, gypsy punk, hyperpop and electronic culture, Balkan Trafik! creates a dialogue between living traditions and the sounds shaping South-Eastern Europe today.

After the live concerts, the festival switches into club mode. DJ Skandal, Shahash and their guests will transform the Bourse into a Balkan dancefloor until late into the night.

Meet an expert in traditional Croatian tattooing, travelling directly from Croatia to present the ancestral sicanje tradition. Tattoo sessions will be available by appointment only, on Friday from 6:30 PM to 10:00 PM and Saturday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

On Saturday afternoon, Balkan designers, contemporary creators and artists wearing traditional costumes will take over the catwalk inside the Bourse. A meeting between heritage, identity and new trends in Balkan fashion.

Saturday afternoon will also feature three discussions connecting Brussels with South-Eastern Europe: young European mayors, Balkan civil society and the Crossing Social Borders project.
